COBIS Inspection1, July 2019
It is with great pleasure that EPG can now announce its full reaccreditation from The Council Of British International Schools (COBIS). The British Schools Overseas (BSO) accreditation framework is a voluntary and rigorous inspection system, created under the auspices of the Department for Education (DfE) in the UK. BSO compares international British-style schools against the standards expected of top independent schools in the UK. The 7 inspectors from Penta International scoured every aspect of EPG’s primary schools in Salmiya and Salwa for 3 days in March, from our comprehensive staff selection and school safety procedures, to our top-quality curriculum and custom-built facilities. The inspectors heaped praise on EPG for our thoroughly British educational environment and for the amazing speed at which children acquire solid English skills in our schools, and they highlighted the strength of our strategic vision to strengthen and grow in the future.
We would like to thank the many supporting hands that made this impressive accomplishment possible: to our hardworking teachers, who gave their days – and often their nights and weekends – to prepare their pupils each and every day; to our tireless staff and administrators, who make EPG schools a smooth running, fun and safe place to learn and grow; to our Principals, Vice-Principals and Year Leaders, whose strategic guidance led our schools to success; to our Board of Directors, whose pioneering vision and unwavering support has built EPG into an educational leader in Kuwait; and, finally, to the parents and students of EPG, whose daily effort and support makes our schools the remarkable places that they are. We could never be the best that we can be, without the best all of you show on a daily basis.
Thank you, and we look forward to many years of continued success bringing high quality and high-value British education to communities across Kuwait.
